What You’ll Do

As Director, Deal Desk, you will lead the design and execution of scalable deal desk processes that drive sales effectiveness and operational efficiency. You will:

  • Manage a high-performing team responsible for quoting, deal structuring, contracting, discount approvals, and order processing
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve consistency and reduce manual effort
  • Deliver actionable insights through reporting and analytics to support departmental decision-making
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure alignment, compliance, and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop talent, fostering a culture of accountability and growth
  • Serve as a functional expert and resource across Revenue Operations
  • Support evolving business needs and strategic initiatives with agility and foresight

Your leadership will shape the systems, culture, and performance of the Deal Desk function, ensuring it scales effectively to meet enterprise goals.


Who You Are

You are a strategic and inclusive leader with deep expertise in deal desk operations and revenue management. You thrive in complex, fast-paced environments and bring a sharp eye for scalable process design and automation. Your background includes:

  • Proven success in leading deal desk functions at the departmental or business unit level
  • Strong command of pricing strategy, contract governance, and compliance
  • Proficiency in CRM and CPQ systems such as Salesforce and Apttus
  • A track record of automating inefficient processes and driving operational excellence
  • Exceptional analytical, reporting, and negotiation skills
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to build trust-based partnerships across Sales, Finance, Legal, Product, and Systems teams
  • A commitment to equity, inclusion, and talent development
  • A Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) and 10+ years of relevant experience
  • You are energized by ambiguity, motivated by impact, and ready to shape the future of Revenue Operations.

Pay range for this role:
$180,000$220,000 USD

At Edmentum, we are committed to pay transparency. The salary range provided reflects market research, the responsibilities of the role, and alignment with our compensation principles. Actual compensation will be determined based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience and skill sets. All compensation decisions are individualized and based on the specific circumstances of each candidate.
