Job Description:
The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Customer Education & Engagement to lead and expand our provider medical education initiatives. This leadership role will shape and scale strategies to elevate the clinical knowledge, technical skills, and brand advocacy of healthcare providers, estheticians, and partners across business lines.
You will play a critical role in expanding our professional education platform, building strategic relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and positioning Hydrafacial as a leader in medical aesthetics education. This is a highly collaborative role requiring close partnerships across marketing, clinical affairs, sales, regulatory, and product development.
What you’ll do:
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the vision and roadmap for North America medical education across channels and audience segments.
Translate business goals and product innovation into high-impact learning strategies that drive adoption and elevate brand credibility.
Oversee the development of multi-tiered educational programming (beginner to expert), including certifications, masterclasses, webinars, in-person trainings, and digital modules.
Ensure all content reflects scientific integrity, brand positioning, and clinical relevance.
Direct the creation and curation of high-quality, clinically accurate educational materials, including training guides, videos, digital assets, and clinical protocols.
Ensure alignment with emerging clinical trends, new product launches, and regulatory standards.
Build and manage a network of KOLs, faculty trainers, and clinical educators, in partnership with Director of Professional Relations.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to elevate these voices through speaker programs, peer-to-peer education, and conference presence.
Build and lead a high-performing medical education team,
Manage department budget, resource planning, vendor relationships, and performance tracking.
Serve as a key cross-functional leader interfacing with product marketing, clinical affairs, regulatory, sales, and marketing to align education with business priorities.
Guide internal teams on training standards, messaging, and implementation across markets.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you need to know:
Experience/Skills/Education:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Clinical Education, Medical Aesthetics, or related discipline.
8–10+ years of progressive leadership experience in medical education, clinical training, or professional development — ideally in aesthetics, dermatology, or medical device.
8+ years demonstrated experience building scalable education platforms and teams.
Deep understanding of the medical aesthetics landscape, with an emphasis on non-invasive skincare technology.
5+ years of experience and strong track record of engaging and partnering with KOLs, physicians, and medical professionals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire across diverse audiences.
5+ years of experience with digital learning technologies, LMS platforms, and remote training delivery.
Highly strategic, collaborative, and results-oriented leader with a passion for empowering clinical excellence.
Desired:
Advanced education in related field preferred
