Job Description:

As our new Director, Customer Analytics, you will report to the VP, Customer Analytics, and partner with other senior leaders, analysts and managers on each project. You will be called to master our frameworks and develop an advanced understanding of how the entire marketing technology stack comes together to promote our client's vision. You will work across industries with subject matter experts and expertise to come together in sound consulting deliverables informing planning, main decisions and technical implementations.

You Will:

  • Be a trusted partner, providing important insights through data analysis to inform strategic planning and initiative prioritization.

  • Coach and train direct and indirect reports on how to best identify the solutions driven through data, analytics, and technology available to support our strategic plans.

  • Create and support executive level presentations and analyses of analytic and data solutions to support client needs

  • Translate data/results into clear narratives for tech and non-tech audiences across multiple channels (i.e., ppt, and email).

  • Recommend relevant insights for strategic and long-term planning including trade-off analysis applying value-based measurement.

  • Collaborate with cross-agency SMEs to ensure solutions are client and customer-centric and well thought through

  • Provide expertise through articles, blogs, event and other marketing avenues to guide the latest application of analytics and data solutions

  • Identify opportunities for cross-solutioning within clients

  • Assess market trends and incorporate external insights to recommend potential product and market level opportunities.

  • Manage and nurture multiple existing, lead and growth account opportunities across Merkle and dentsu network

  • Develop depth and breadth of understanding of solutions and offerings across dentsu and Merkle

You Have:

  • 10+ years' experience in analytics, business consulting, data strategy and/or strategic planning functions.

  • 5+ years of cross-team leadership over multiple business and strategic disciplines.

  • Experiential (Event-Based) Analytics experience is required.

  • Agency experience (Advantageous if you have this).

  • Experience using data and insights for storytelling and solution application.

  • Experience translating ambiguous requests and requirements into tangible and tactical solutions.

  • Experience simplifying complex analytic and data solutions into clear language for non-technical partners.

  • Experience managing both client and agency teams to facilitate collaborative, data-informed solutions.

  • Experience identifying business challenges and applying analytics-led strategies to address them.

  • Experience working with a broad spectrum of analytic tools, technologies, and solutions to drive business action.

The annual salary range for this position is $113,000-$182,850 Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
