About the Role:The Director, Creative Operations will build and lead the operational backbone of our Creative organization, starting with Performance Creative. This leader will establish best practices in workflow management, reviews, and process efficiencies to ensure every project moves seamlessly from intake to delivery.
You will work closely with integrated and growth marketing teams, as well as creative leads, to implement improvements, recommend operational efficiencies, and provide day-to-day support for the creative process. You will also partner with creative teams to streamline resource allocation, using both internal and external partners, and help manage external creative agency relationships.
This role requires someone with a bias toward action who thrives on building systems that empower creative work. The right candidate will hold teams accountable to deliverables, timelines, and efficiency metrics while driving continuous improvement.
You Will:Establish and lead best practices in workflow management, creative reviews, and process efficiencies across the Performance Creative team.
Partner with integrated marketing, growth marketing, and creative leads to optimize project intake, briefing, and execution.
Manage creative resourcing, balancing internal team bandwidth with external agency or vendor support.
Collaborate with internal production team especially producers) to provide visibility into upcoming needs, downstream workflows, align on resourcing, and ensure objectives are met in partnership.
Manage (along with marketing partners) external creative agency relationships, ensuring deliverables meet quality, budget, and timeline expectations while driving accountability.
Proactively Implement and maintain project management tools and systems that bring transparency and clarity across stakeholders.
Define and track efficiency metrics, reporting regularly to leadership and holding both internal and external partners accountable.
Act as the point person for improving internal communications and workflows, identifying friction points and recommending solutions.
Build strong partnerships across creative, production, and marketing to ensure alignment and seamless execution of priorities.
Provide mentorship and leadership internally, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
10+ years of experience in creative operations, production, and project management, ideally within in-house creative teams or creative agencies.
Proven success leading creative operations at scale, with experience balancing speed, quality, and cost.
Expertise in project management methodologies, resourcing models, and creative workflow systems (e.g., Monday.com, Airtable).
Strong background in managing external agency and vendor relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and influence across creative and marketing stakeholders.
Strong business and financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, advising contracts, and resourcing.
Strategic thinker with a bias toward action and problem-solving, able to navigate ambiguity with clarity.
Passion for building systems that enable creativity without adding unnecessary complexity.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentorship and team development.
