This role reports directly to the MA Americas Head of Networks Rollout and will be based in Plano, Texas.

Market Area Americas is in search for the Director of Corporate Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) who will lead the comprehensive support for the Americas, coordinate responsibilities to meet business needs, and ensure compliance with Environmental Health & Safety requirements and procedures for both North and Latin America.
This role reports directly to the MA Americas Head of Networks Rollout and will be based in Plano, Texas.
In this role you will:
- Implement Group and Local EHS Policy, directives and procedures in the MA and ensuring that management is aligned with them.
- Establish and maintain an MA EHS organization and budget that provides direct support to operations and Customer Units.
- Secure performance that meets or exceeds customer and legal requirements.
- Define and execute MA EHS programs and secure adherence to strategy and targets.
- Assess and support business changes and opportunities from an OHS perspective.
- Monitor, control and report EHS performance.
- Provide feedback and recommend actions for areas of improvement.
- Provide functional expertise to all functions in the MA and secure legal compliance.
- Check incident reporting, flash report providing incident investigation and root cause analysis.
- Provide executive support including overall performance according to targets as well as risk assessment.
- Be the SPOC for EHS audits and support for Management Systems (EGMS and ISO) compliance.
- Support other business areas in the geographic region such as manufacturing, warehousing and office locations.
To be successful in the role you will also have:
A recognized formal EHS qualification e.g. degree or diploma (Post Grad / Degree and MSc in EHS Health and Safety Management or NEBOSH International Diploma in Environmental Safety and Health or other recognized certification.) Certified Safety Professional / Certified Industrial Hygienist preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated work experience in EHS leadership.
- Knowledge of telecommunications or experience in other high-risk industries.
- A track-record of effective Leadership, Strategic Planning, Persuading and Influencing, Writing and Reporting, Analyzing Data, Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations, Following Instructions and Procedures.
- A demonstrated record of sustained high performance in senior business or operational roles, with a clear passion for EHS and the executive maturity to invest in and champion continuous learning through both formal and experiential development
- Proven experience engaging Customers, Partners, 3rd Party Suppliers, Governments and External Industry Contacts.
