Granicus is looking for an experienced and strategic Director, Corporate Creative Digital Marketing to lead the creative vision and execution for all digital projects and campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and objectives. This role will be responsible for our digital marketing strategy and execution across web, social, and advertising channels to drive corporate awareness, engagement and pipeline generation. This role requires a deep understanding of website strategies and technologies, digital marketing platforms, data analytics, and customer acquisition strategies.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, managing and optimizing successful corporate websites and digital campaigns (including ABM) that deliver measurable results. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate closely with cross-functional departments including Segment Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, and Content to ensure alignment and consistency in our digital marketing execution. You will also be responsible for managing the digital marketing budget, analyzing digital marketing performance, and optimizing strategies based on data-driven insights.
To succeed in this role, you must be a creative thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for staying ahead of digital trends. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. In this role you will:
- Digital Strategy & Leadership -
- Lead and mentor a team of website and digital marketing specialists to collectively design, execute and optimize all digital platforms, programs and tactics to support corporate, segment and product level initiatives.
- Develop and lead our corporate digital marketing strategy and execution across all digital channels – web, SEO/SEM, organic and paid social, email, and display advertising.
- Analyze digital marketing performance and present results and data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Monitor digital trends, regulatory updates (e.g., GDRP) and evolving AdTech stacks to maintain competitive advantage and legal compliance.
- Website Strategy & Optimization -
- Direct our website team on both strategy and technical optimization for the corporate website and multiple regional websites to support our top business objectives, focusing on user experience, site performance, and conversion optimization.
- Work closely with content and design teams, as well as product marketing and segment marketing teams, to present our value proposition and solutions in a dynamic, engaging, and compelling manner across our sites.
- Design, execute and optimize multiple self-discovery paths for key personas to capture, nurture and qualify net new leads.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration -
- Work closely with Segment Marketing, Product Marketing, Design, Content, Events, and other teams to synchronize digital efforts around corporate brand campaigns, targeted segment campaigns, product launches, ABM campaigns, and events.
- Advise and support Segment and Product Marketing colleagues in designing and executing targeted and/or product-specific campaigns toward public sector segments to generate and progress leads through the sales pipeline.
- Support offline initiatives (webinars, trade shows, sponsorships) through digital amplification.
- Budget & Vendor Management -
- Oversee digital budget allocation, balancing paid media investments (e.g. LinkedIn, Google Ads, media networks) with ROI-focused organic tactics.
- Work closely with technology vendors – including 6Sense, Drift, etc. -- to maximize our ROI and drive optimal marketing performance.
- Maintain a consistent understanding of marketing technologies and propose new platforms/solutions when applicable to further advance our digital success.
- Analytics & Reporting -
- Define key performance indicators in aggregate and by channel across web, social, ABM, display, etc.
- Track and interpret metrics to deliver actionable insights and campaign performance reports to the C‑suite and team leaders, demonstrating impact on pipeline, customer acquisition, and brand equity.
Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years in digital marketing, with 3–5 years leading strategy in a B2B or B2G SaaS company; B2G experience preferred.
- Strong leadership track record managing website and digital marketing teams in a global environment.
- Deep experience in website strategy, design and technical implementation and management, including CMS (e.g. WordPress), HTML/CSS basics, UX, etc.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM tools.
- Experience in ABM platforms and other digital marketing technologies such as 6sense, Drift, Marketo, etc.
- Very Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Strong written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Creative thinker with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing multiple projects and priorities.
- Passion and/or experience in working with public sector entities.
Potential base salary. Does not include bonus OR commission and benefits.
FULL-TIME - COMPENSATION RANGE: $120,000 - $135,000 USD
