Reporting to the General Counsel, this position will be responsible for overseeing and strengthening Creation’s global compliance program, covering each of Creation’s 13 manufacturing sites located in the United States, Canada, Mexico and China. The successful candidate will work closely with other Creation departments to ensure that appropriate compliance controls, tools and measures are not only in place but are adhered to and are functioning effectively.This role offers remote work flexibility within the United States, with preference given to candidates located near a Creation US facility.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the head of compliance for Creation and be responsible for all aspects of Creation’s compliance program
- Collaborate and consult with Creation’s IT team to ensure that IT security policy and risk issues are addressed and meet regulatory requirements
- Review, enhance and structure Creation’s internal controls and compliance tools to ensure compliance with internal policies, contractual requirements, ethical standards, and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Identify and effectively communicate and escalate compliance matters to Creation senior leadership and Creation’s legal department and support internal investigations of compliance issues
- Evaluate proposed and current regulatory requirements and interpretations that impact or may impact Creation’s operations
- Draft, enhance, implement and monitor Creation compliance policies and procedures alongside various Creation departments and identify opportunities for technology-based compliance solutions
- Operationalize compliance processes and policy
- Develop KPI’s to measure compliance program effectiveness
- Support compliance monitoring activities that arise in government and defense subcontracts and FDA contracts
- Manage ongoing CMMC compliance
- Oversee Creation’s Environmental Social Governance (ESG) programs and initiatives
- Coordinate responses to external regulatory audits and inquiries and conduct periodic internal business unit audits
- Interact with customers and other third parties on matters related to the organization’s internal controls
- Oversee, implement, improve and manage regulatory and compliance training programs for Creation personnel
- Manage existing Compliance team members
Skills, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business administration, economics, management, law or another closely related field
- Experience (8+ years) in risk management or compliance roles. Preference will be given to candidates with US government and defense contracting experience who are knowledgeable in FAR and DFARS government flow downs and FDA regulations
- Knowledge and application of EAR and ITAR rules and regulations, and other US and non-US regulatory requirements
- US Citizen or lawful permanent resident or a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act. Individuals capable of obtaining a secret level clearance is a plus.
- Knowledge of COMSEC requirements and Authorization to Operate (ATO’s) process a plus
- Experience in electronics manufacturing industry a plus
In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salary for this position ranges from $190k-$225k USD annually. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and a range of benefits. Please note that this salary range is not guaranteed, and the final offer may vary based on experience, education, location, and shift. Additionally, the benefits and programs available may differ depending on the hire date, schedule type, and hours worked.
