Lead and manage a Career Services team to build employer partnerships, coach and prepare students for employment, run recruiting events, ensure placement compliance, and improve placement outcomes.

Lincoln Tech has an opening for a Director of Career Services. We are seeking a professional who possesses exceptional leadership qualities, sales and managerial skills. In this role, you will develop strong industry relationships, foster affiliations with area companies, and coach and prepare students for employment. As a team leader, you will develop, lead, and manage a team of Career Services professionals to achieve career placement success!
Responsibilities
- Coach and prepare students for employment opportunities
- Develop and maintain employer partnerships and career opportunities for the benefit of Lincoln Tech's students and graduates
- Organize and conduct job fairs, employer visits, employer-in-residence programs, career information sessions, mock interviews, and similar activities which promote career readiness and career placement
- Participate in weekly management meetings and student panels
- Career placement compliance and reporting
- Manage Career Services activities to ensure continual improvement of outcomes
- Motivate and lead the Career Services Team to achieve company and accreditation expectations
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Career Services, job placement, staffing, and/or recruitment
- Bachelor's degree
- Charismatic w/excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Management experience with the ability to train and motivate
- Team player who is ready to help strengthen the entire campus as well as their own department
- Strong time management skills and willingness to dedicate the time needed to be part of a successful organization
- Experience with Social Media platforms is a plus!
- Knowledge of CampusVue is a plus!
