We’re Hiring: Director of Business Operations

We’re looking for a Director of Business Operations to help scale and optimize EdVisorly’s internal systems, processes, and workflows as we continue our rapid growth. This role is a key partner to the Chief Operating Officer and works cross-functionally across the organization to ensure our strategy translates into consistent, high-quality execution.
The Director of Business Operations will work across the organization to operationalize, scale, and optimize the systems and processes that support the company’s rapid growth. As our programs and teams evolve, you'll ensure our core systems, workflows, and tools stay tightly aligned, ensuring that strategic decisions translate into consistent, reliable day-to-day execution. You'll be accountable for end-to-end workflow integrity, accurate data capture, and making sure every program change is reflected seamlessly in the systems our teams depend on.

What You’ll Own

🔹 Business Systems & Process Optimization

  • Own the creation, evolution, and documentation of business systems and processes that support company growth. Ensure smooth handoffs to functional teams and drive adoption across the organization.

🔹 Data & Operational Insights

  • Build and automate data analyses using AI and other tools to generate actionable insights. Translate data into clear recommendations that inform strategic decisions across teams.

🔹 Strategic Initiatives & Project Management

  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and high-priority projects, including key partnerships and company-wide efforts critical to scaling the business.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency, speed, and profitability across workflows, systems, and team operations.

  • Proactively identify and resolve implementation issues and adoption challenges. Independently solve problems where possible and escalate complex or high-risk issues appropriately.

✅ You have 8–10 years of experience in program management, business operations, or cross-functional project management
✅ You have experience owning complex, cross-functional processes end-to-end
✅ You can map workflows and identify where systems or processes break down
✅ You are highly analytical, comfortable using data (and AI tools) to drive decisions
✅ You thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments and enjoy building in ambiguity
✅ You are highly collaborative and can work effectively across multiple stakeholders
✅ You thrive in remote environments using tools like Asana, Jira, and HubSpot

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Experience in higher education, edtech, or SaaS environments
⭐ Strong technical aptitude with experience troubleshooting systems and workflows
⭐ Experience implementing or improving operational systems at scale
⭐ Proven ability to leverage AI tools to analyze data, build workflows, and drive efficiency
