Director, Business Operations – Prepay Editing
The Director of Business Operations for Prepay Editing serves as a strategic operating partner to the General Manager, with a mandate to scale a high-growth business and deliver measurable impact. This role sits at the center of strategy and execution—translating ambitious growth objectives into disciplined operating plans, driving cross-functional alignment, and ensuring consistent delivery against key business outcomes.This leader will architect and run the business operating system, enabling visibility, accountability, and velocity across the organization. With a particular focus on accelerating growth in Secondary prepay editing, the Director will identify and remove execution barriers, strengthen analytics and performance insights, and build the operational infrastructure required to commercialize, deliver, and optimize prepay content at scale.
This is a highly visible role with direct influence on growth, client impact, and executive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities & Impact
Strategic Execution & Business Leadership
Partner closely with the GM to translate strategy into actionable quarterly and annual operating plans, with clear milestones, ownership, and measurable outcomes
Serve as the connective tissue across the business—ensuring alignment between growth strategy, product/content development, and client delivery
Operating System & Business Cadence
Design and lead the operating rhythm of the business, including weekly business reviews, monthly operating reviews, and quarterly planning cycles
Establish governance frameworks, decision-making processes, and risk management practices that drive clarity, speed, and accountability
Growth & Performance Management
Own end-to-end performance visibility across pipeline, revenue growth, content readiness, client execution, and realized savings
Build executive-level dashboards and insights that inform decisions and highlight opportunities to accelerate growth
Cross-Functional Execution at Scale
Drive complex, cross-functional programs spanning content strategy, clinical build, solution design, analytics, client delivery, and customer support
Proactively identify dependencies and execution risks, removing bottlenecks to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
Content-to-Revenue Engine
Establish and optimize the content-to-revenue system, aligning content investments with growth targets, go-to-market priorities, and client demand
Monitor throughput, readiness, and scalability to ensure the business can meet accelerating demand
Go-to-Market Enablement
Partner with GTM leadership to strengthen deal support capabilities, including standardized ROI narratives, value articulation, and consultative sales enablement
Ensure internal readiness to effectively position and sell prepay editing solutions
Client Delivery Excellence
Build scalable playbooks that ensure seamless transitions from sale → implementation → optimization
Drive consistency, reduce operational friction, and accelerate time-to-value for clients
Continuous Improvement & Scalability
Lead operational excellence initiatives, standardizing processes and implementing repeatable mechanisms that improve efficiency and reduce rework
Embed a culture of data-driven continuous improvement across teams
Executive Communication & Influence
Synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership
Provide transparent updates on progress, risks, and key decisions required to achieve business objectives
Investment & Resource Strategy
Support strategic decision-making through business cases, capacity modeling, and scenario planning
Ensure resources are aligned to the highest-impact opportunities tied to growth targets
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required (quantifiable from resume/application):
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Product Ops, BizOps or Management Consulting, ideally within healthcare or healthcare technology.
Demonstrated success driving cross-functional execution without direct authority, including managing complex dependencies and timelines.
Strong quantitative and analytical capability—experience building KPIs, dashboards, operating reviews, and performance narratives.
Experience improving processes and operating systems (planning, governance, reporting, handoffs) in a scaling organization.
Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize ambiguity into clear recommendations, decisions, and action plans.
Familiarity with healthcare claims/payment workflows and/or savings-based value propositions (or strong adjacent experience).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting a GM/Product line leader in a growth-oriented business.
Background in payment integrity, claims editing, prepay/postpay analytics, COB/Secondary, or payer operations.
Experience partnering with Analytics/Data teams to improve data reliability, cycle time, and self-serve insights.
Experience building consultative GTM enablement: ROI models, value cases, packaging, playbooks, and client roadmaps.
Comfort with tooling ecosystems (e.g., CRM + BI + project management tools) and translating strategy into scalable operations.
