This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing team where you will be focused on owning and elevating the data analysis that powers our end-to-end consumer entertainment platform, helping drive measurable growth across departments and the MyPrize user journey.
The Role:
As the Director of Analytics at MyPrize, you'll own the end-to-end Analytics function, understanding and optimizing MyPrize’s performance across departments including Marketing, Customer Operations, VIP Account Management, Risk & Compliance, and more. You’ll partner with teams across the company to design and optimize our robust metrics and measurement systems, build decision tools and experimentation loops, and rapidly turn data into actionable directions for all of MyPrize’s Product, Marketing, and Operations teams.
You'll play a central role in evolving MyPrize's overall data and analytics functions, from analysis and data science to product strategy recommendations, helping us scale what's working and optimize what's next.
What you will do at MyPrize:
- Analyze & Optimize Processes: Scale out a full end-to-end analytics function including creating high-impact workstreams, evaluating existing workflows and trends across the MyPrize platform and user experience.
- Product & Operations Recommendations: Develop complex analyses and rapidly translate them into refined and clear insights, subsequently communicating them with actionable recommendations for the Product, Marketing, and Operations teams, aligning stakeholders on clear objectives, and enabling data-driven decisions across the organization.
- Data Infrastructure Development: Inform and influence the development of MyPrize’s data infrastructure and metrics to enhance monitoring, measurement, and analysis.
- Reporting Tooling & Optimization: Develop and maintain robust reporting tools to provide detailed metrics. Strategically analyze company-wide data to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvements in processes and tools.
- Dashboard Development & Enhancement: Build out useful dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key metrics to inform leadership awareness and decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in a cross-functional manner including Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Operations, and Marketing to identify and analyze key company metrics, highlight and report on key information, and guide strategic initiatives and enhancements.
What you bring to MyPrize:
- 5-7 years experience in analytics and data science functions, ideally at a high-growth consumer tech, gaming, or SaaS company.
- Strong analytical instincts in analyzing data, delivering key insights, and when to prioritize speed vs. perfection.
- Clear and effective communicator with excellent project management skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Comfortable with data analysis. You know what metrics matter, how to build meaningful reports, and when insights should drive action. Strong SQL knowledge is required.
- A systematic mindset. You thrive on creating processes, managing complex calendars, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of excellent data science and analysis skills with measurable impact on performance and team efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines without compromising quality.
Gold Stars:
