Job summary
Valiantys is looking for a Director, AI-Enabled DevOps Transformation to drive sales and growth across a portfolio of Valiantys' strategic and enterprise accounts. They will act as a trusted advisor to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, VPs of Engineering, and Platform leaders — translating their business goals into multi-year transformation roadmaps spanning SDLC modernization, AI-enabled delivery, DevOps architecture, and cloud infrastructure. They will own new logo acquisition and existing account expansion, facilitate executive alignment and value realization, and lead pursuit and delivery consultants to win and execute high-impact engagements.
What you’ll be working on
Own executive relationships across a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts; serve as the single point of accountability for client outcomes, satisfaction, and growth.
Co-develop and execute account strategies that expand Valiantys' footprint across SDLC tooling (Atlassian, GitHub/GitLab), AI-enabled delivery, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure.
Lead solutioning for complex pursuits — partnering internally to scope DevOps, platform engineering, and AI-augmented SDLC engagements.
Shape and communicate target architectures spanning CI/CD, security, compliance, resilience, and AI copilots integrated into the delivery lifecycle.
Govern delivery quality in partnership with engagement managers; intervene on escalations and ensure architectural integrity.
Represent Valiantys in executive briefings, QBRs, industry events, and joint go-to-market activities.
Mentor consultants and architects, contributing to Valiantys' practice development in AI-enabled SDLC and DevOps.
10+ years in consulting, professional services, or enterprise technology roles, with at least 5 years in client-facing leadership (Client Partner, Engagement Director, or equivalent).
SDLC expertise: proven track record modernizing software delivery lifecycles — requirements, source control, CI/CD, test automation, release management, and value stream metrics.
AI-enabled delivery: demonstrated experience embedding AI/LLM capabilities (e.g., code assistants, agentic workflows, AI-driven testing, intelligent ITSM) into enterprise SDLC and DevOps practices.
DevOps Solution Architect background: hands-on or architectural depth in CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, container platforms (Kubernetes/EKS), IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), and observability tooling.
Infrastructure expertise: strong foundation in cloud and platform infrastructure — networking, identity, security, scalability, and reliability engineering at enterprise scale.
AWS credentials: active AWS certification — minimum AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or equivalent in Azure or GCP.
Demonstrated ability to lead multi-million-dollar account portfolios and complex pursuits.
Excellent executive communication, commercial acumen, and consultative selling skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
Experience within the Atlassian ecosystem (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Rovo).
Additional preferred certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), ITIL, SAFe, HashiCorp Cloud Engineer.
Experience scaling AI platform capabilities (RAG, MCP, agent orchestration) in regulated industries.
Experience with or exposure to AWS industry specializations
Established network within AWS partner organizations and joint GTM motions.
Prior P&L ownership in a consulting or systems integrator environment.
