Sequencing is building the interface between humanity and its DNA.
Using clinical-grade whole genome sequencing, AI, and a rapidly expanding ecosystem of genomic applications, we help people better understand themselves, their health, and their future through their DNA.
The human genome is one of the most valuable and underutilized resources in the world. Our mission is to transform the human genome into a lifelong source of personalized guidance and build the trusted home for every genome on Earth.
As the world’s largest direct-to-consumer whole genome sequencing platform, Sequencing is helping define the future of AI-powered personalized health.
We’re a profitable, venture-backed, fully remote company building category-defining products that help people better understand themselves through their DNA.
The Director of AI and Emerging Technologies will lead Sequencing.com’s AI and emerging tech function, sitting at the intersection of Product and Engineering, and partnering closely with Bioinformatics, Design, and Growth to build AI-powered capabilities that advance our mission to transform DNA from static data into an interactive source of lifelong health intelligence for individuals and families. This leader will be responsible for defining the AI and emerging technology strategy, setting the technical vision, and establishing the processes, standards, and operating rhythm that ensure AI is deeply and effectively embedded across our products.
This role will own outcomes for AI and emerging technology across our genomics platform and native apps, including improving user engagement, quality, and time-to-insight, while driving clear, measurable impact on company growth and AI-driven revenue in a fast-moving health tech environment. It combines strategy, hands-on technical leadership, and executive communication, and you will work directly with cross-functional partners to translate AI opportunities into shipped, high-impact capabilities that consistently raise the bar for genomic intelligence and customer experience.
