We’re looking for a Director of Account Management to lead and inspire a high-performing team of 5 Account Managers. This role reports directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and is pivotal in driving client success, deepening relationships, and ensuring our solutions consistently deliver measurable impact.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of account managers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Enhance the operating cadence of the account management team to help ensure Gross Revenue Retention (GRR) of 90%+.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them maximize value from Ascend Analytics’ suite of solutions.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Product, and Analytics—to align client needs with innovative solutions.
  • Develop strategies to strengthen client relationships, increase adoption, and drive long-term success.
  • Champion Ascend Analytics’ values of integrity, curiosity, and excellence in every interaction.

 

Who you are:

  • 3–5 years of experience in account management leadership.
  • Experienced in managing high-performing account management teams.
  • Passionate about energy markets, analytics, or software solutions; energy industry experience is a plus.
  • Skilled at translating complex technical solutions into clear business value for clients.
  • Inspiring, collaborative, and proactive in driving client and team success.

Compensation 

$200,000-$215,000 base + commission

Negotiable based on qualifications and experience. Ascend highly values our employees and often pays above industry average.
