We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Technology (DT) Systems Management and Security (SMS) Project Manager this position is 100% Remote within the United States.
As part of the Digital Technology (DT) Systems Management and Security (SMS) Program Management Office (PMO) team, this role will lead and manage projects, providing both independent and interdependent SMS-led initiative oversight. The primary responsibility is to ensure exceptional project execution through effective individual and team assignments. Additionally, the role involves collaborating closely with subject matter experts to receive specific guidance and direction.
The Project Manager will hold overall responsibility for projects, leveraging technical experts to create, plan, and execute comprehensive strategies. This position requires extensive collaboration across DT, frequently involving coordination with GSS Cybersecurity and other Enterprise-wide resources and activities to ensure successful project completion. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to lead and manage large, high-impact business initiatives with minimal supervision.
What you will do:
- Lead project planning sessions and develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, key milestones, and optimized resource allocation within a matrix organization.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of projects.
- Monitor and report on project progress, making necessary adjustments to plans to meet objectives and ensure successful outcomes.
- Brief senior leaders within Digital Technology (DT) and potentially with Global Security Services (GSS), providing clear and concise updates.
- Identify and manage project risks by implementing effective mitigation strategies to minimize potential impact.
- Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate project meetings by providing clear agendas, actionable items, and fostering productive discussions.
- Manage project budgets rigorously, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints and deliver value.
- Foster a collaborative team environment that promotes effective communication, teamwork, and a shared commitment to project success.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe Scrum Master, or SAFe Product Owner).
- Experience in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, or Waterfall).
- Experience with project management software (e.g., JIRA, or MS Project).
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Knowledge of the Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity industry.
- Demonstrated experience with JIRA for project management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity processes and technologies, including application development, IT infrastructure and networking services, collaborative tools and technology, and risk analysis/reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodology.
