Job Description

The Digital Product Manager is responsible for contributing to the definition, delivery, and ongoing evolution of innovative, AI‑enabled products within Allstate’s growing product portfolio. This role supports early‑stage product exploration and experimentation, helping translate emerging technologies—such as generative/agentic AI and advanced analytics—into meaningful customer and enterprise value.
The Digital product Manager assists with establishing product vision, driving product discovery, shaping learning‑oriented roadmaps, and managing backlogs in areas where problem statements and solutions may be rapidly evolving. Successful Product Managers in this role are adept at identifying assumptions, designing experiments, and validating ideas through iterative discovery techniques.
This role works closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and partners to ensure strong alignment, clear communication, and effective execution, while contributing to go‑to‑market and enablement strategies as AI‑driven concepts mature into scalable products

Key Responsibilities

• Authors, tests, and accepts stories, including those supporting early‑stage AI prototypes, experiments, and iterative proofs of concept.

• Define and manage success metrics to evaluate product outcomes and learning objectives, using insights from experiments and pilots to inform broader product strategy

• Contribute towards creation and evolution of product strategy for one or more products and experimental initiatives in our growing digital product portfolio, with a focus on emerging AI capabilities

• Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on decisions about product direction, investment decisions, and prioritization.

• Decompose complex, ambiguous problem spaces into manageable hypotheses and work items by creating, refining, and prioritizing a product backlog for the Product Team

• Ensure timely stakeholder feedback across iterative development and experimentation cycles.

• Represent the voice of the customer by engaging with current and potential users to understand needs, behaviors, and opportunities—particularly as new AI‑driven experiences are explored.

• Lead and participate in discovery and test‑and‑learn activities, rapidly validating assumptions, evaluating AI‑enabled solutions, and adjusting product direction based on findings.

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

• 1 or more years of experience leading an AI-driven product (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Artificial Intelligence (AI), Business Case Analyses, Customer Experience Management, Data Analytics, Digital Products, Product Management, Product Roadmapping, Product Strategies, Systems Thinking, Waterfall Model

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 110,000.00 - 181,025.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
