Job Description

The Product Management Expert is responsible for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products within Allstate's Legal Technology portfolio. This individual drives product vision, strategy, discovery, and execution to maximize value for Legal, Compliance, and enterprise stakeholders.
The successful candidate combines strong product management expertise with experience delivering enterprise technology solutions within legal, litigation, compliance, or other highly regulated environments.
They partner closely with attorneys, legal operations professionals, business partners, and technology teams to modernize workflows, improve operational efficiency, leverage data and analytics, and deliver AI-enabled capabilities that enhance decision-making and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities


  • Create, drive, and execute product strategy for one or more products within the Legal Technology portfolio.
  • Partner with Legal, Claims, Compliance, and Technology stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve legal and litigation workflows, legal operations, decision-making, and business outcomes.
  • Use customer feedback, operational data, market research, and analytics to inform product strategy, prioritization, and investment decisions.
  • Lead product discovery, experimentation, and test-and-learn activities to validate assumptions, understand user needs, and assess business value.
  • Decompose complex legal, operational, and technical challenges into manageable product capabilities, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Define and manage key performance indicators that measure adoption, operational efficiency, user satisfaction, productivity gains, and business impact.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by building deep understanding of attorneys, legal professionals, claims users, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage product backlogs, create and communicate product vision, and provide timely stakeholder feedback throughout product development and delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, data, analytics, security, and vendor partners to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.
  • Drive the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, Generative AI, automation, analytics, and workflow solutions that create value for Legal and the business.
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmaps, priorities, risks, and business outcomes to senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor team members on product management practices, customer-centricity, experimentation, outcome measurement, and cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Experience & Skills


  • Experience managing enterprise software products, digital platforms, or workflow solutions.
  • Experience identifying, defining, and delivering AI-powered capabilities, including document intelligence, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, decision support, and analytics solutions.
  • Experience working within Legal Technology, Legal Operations, Litigation Technology, Compliance, Risk, Claims, or other highly regulated business domains.
  • Familiarity with legal workflows, legal operations processes, litigation management, document management, knowledge management, contract management, compliance, or related disciplines.
  • Experience leveraging data, analytics, and customer insights to drive product strategy and decision-making.
  • Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies, including identifying and delivering practical business use cases.
  • Experience evaluating and implementing third-party software solutions and partnering with external vendors.
  • Ability to influence and align stakeholders across Legal, Technology and other enterprise areas.
  • Strong strategic thinking, product discovery, prioritization, communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams within Agile product development environments.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 120,000.00 - 193,725.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
