The Office of Technology at Leidos has an opportunity for an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Manager to lead the Digital Engineering collaboration and innovation efforts under the Director of Digital Engineering for the Defense Systems Sector. The team plays a pivotal role in fostering teamwork, creativity, and technological advancement in digital engineering initiatives, driving competitive advantage and value creation for the organization. The qualified candidate will focus on fostering soft skills of technical leadership and facilitating team members through Digital Engineering practice adoptions. In addition, the candidate will work to upskill team members in other areas to bridge integrated product teams from traditional business practices to new capabilities. We're seeking a candidate with exceptional communication and collaboration skills, particularly in working with technical teams, including those who may have unconventional communication styles.

The ideal candidate will be adept at building strong relationships with engineers and other technical professionals, facilitating clear and effective communication, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. This role offers opportunities to develop hands-on products to create resources, playbooks, services, and programming for multidisciplinary teams involved in digital engineering projects, including software developers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and conducting ideation sessions, workshops, and hackathons to foster creativity and generate innovative ideas for digital engineering solutions.
  • Implementing and managing collaboration tools and platforms (e.g., project management tools, communication tools, version control systems) to support seamless teamwork and information sharing.
  • Researching and evaluating emerging technologies, trends, and industry innovations relevant to digital engineering, and assessing their potential for adoption.
  • Promoting the sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and success stories across teams and projects to facilitate continuous learning and improvement.
  • Establishing and maintaining a knowledge repository and documentation system for digital engineering processes, tools, and solutions.
  • Coordinating cross-functional efforts and resources across different departments and teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines.
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, partners, vendors) to gather feedback, validate requirements, and promote collaboration in digital engineering initiatives
  • Gathering and analyzing feedback from stakeholders and end-users to identify areas for improvement and innovation in digital engineering products and services.
  • Continuously optimizing collaboration processes, innovation workflows, and team dynamics to enhance productivity, efficiency, and creativity.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, legal requirements, and industry standards related to data security, intellectual property rights, and ethical practices.
  • Establishing recognition programs and incentives to celebrate and reward team members for their contributions to collaboration and innovation in digital engineering.
  • Working closely with senior management to champion a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Required Experience:

  • Master's degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or relevant field and 10+ years of OCM related experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Change Management Analysis, Change Readiness Assessment, Change Management Planning, Stakeholder Engagement, Communication and Training, and Change Implementation Support.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate by phone, email, and in person with customers, management, and executive leadership.
  • Works effectively both as a team member and independently with open-ended or ambiguous goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated technical management experience to coordinate, manage, and track roadmaps and timelines.
  • Experience with Survey Design, Project Management and Evaluation
  • Proven strong interpersonal skills, including experience navigating and resolving challenging interpersonal dynamics in a professional setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work effectively with diverse personalities, manage conflicts diplomatically, and maintain a collaborative atmosphere under pressure.

Pay Range:Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
