Join our digital marketing agency as a Digital Marketing Manager overseeing both paid advertising and SEO programs for multiple clients. This is a senior, client-facing role that requires full ownership of both channels: you will manage campaigns and SEO programs independently, serve as the strategic account lead for your clients, and bring executive-level experience to client relationships and channel strategy. You will collaborate with our marketing team while driving measurable ROI across paid and organic search.

DeliverablesPaid Campaign Management
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and other relevant platforms
  • Take full ownership of campaign performance and results from strategy through execution
  • Manage multiple client ad accounts simultaneously with varying budgets and objectives
  • Conduct keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis
  • Design and execute comprehensive A/B testing strategies for ad copy, creatives, landing pages, and audiences to continuously improve performance
  • Monitor campaign performance daily and make data-driven optimizations
  • Manage ad budgets efficiently to maximize ROI for clients
SEO Program Management
  • Own full SEO programs for client accounts, covering technical SEO, on-page optimization, content strategy, and link building
  • Conduct site audits and work with development teams on site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing, and structured data
  • Perform keyword research, search intent analysis, and competitive analysis to direct content roadmaps
  • Coordinate with content and design teams on content production and optimization
  • Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and site health, and make data-driven improvements
  • Stay current on algorithm updates and AI-driven search changes, including visibility in AI search and answer engines
Integrated Search Strategy
  • Coordinate paid and organic as one search strategy per client
  • Use paid campaign data to inform content priorities and keyword targeting
  • Build organic strength to reduce paid dependency over time, and allocate budget across channels based on blended return
  • Proactively research and recommend new channels, platforms, and media opportunities to expand client reach
  • Lead discussions with clients and the team about emerging search channels and innovative approaches
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion and improvement, and recommend budget adjustments based on performance data
Account Management and Client Strategy
  • Serve as the strategic point of contact for assigned client accounts
  • Develop paid and organic strategies aligned with each client's business goals
  • Lead client calls on strategy, performance, and results
  • Manage client expectations, timelines, and budgets
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and present them to clients and internal stakeholders
Reporting and Communication
  • Create clear, actionable monthly performance reports covering both paid and organic channels
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on campaign data, search trends, and market insights
  • Track and report on key metrics: CPA, ROAS, CTR, conversion rates, organic traffic, rankings, and revenue attribution
  • Communicate performance, insights, and recommendations directly to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Available during 9am–5pm Central Time with at least 4–6 hours presence for team collaboration
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years managing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads required) and SEO programs, with demonstrated results in both channels
  • Executive or senior-level experience leading client accounts and owning strategy, not just execution
  • Proven account management skills: running client relationships, setting expectations, and presenting strategy and results directly to decision makers
  • Proven track record of managing $10K+ monthly ad budgets
  • Experience working in an agency environment managing multiple client accounts
  • Google Ads certification (required)
  • Meta Blueprint certification (preferred)
  • Strong technical SEO skills: site audits, Core Web Vitals, structured data, and crawl management
  • Demonstrated experience with A/B testing methodologies and statistical significance analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Screaming Frog
  • Experience with reporting tools (Looker Studio or similar)
  • Ability to take full ownership of accounts with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • LinkedIn Ads experience
  • Microsoft Ads (Bing) experience
  • Local SEO experience
  • E-commerce experience across paid and organic (Shopify, WooCommerce)
  • Experience with landing page optimization and CRO
  • Digital PR and link outreach experience
  • AI search optimization experience
  • Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (particularly lead tracking and attribution)
  • Local service business marketing experience
  • Experience with JIRA or project management tools
