Position Overview

The Digital & eCommerce Manager on the Industry Sales team plays a pivotal role in driving Autodesk’s eCommerce new revenue growth for our current and future customers. You are responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing best-in-class eCommerce strategies and experiences across multiple customer segments, personas, and journeys for select Industry and Products. You work with and through your key stakeholders by being an advocate for Digital and the customer. Based on customer, market and business trends you actively monitor and communicate developments with your key stakeholders and minimize risk for the successful execution of your plans by adjusting activities or creating mitigation plans. This job is a hybrid or remote role with some location flexibility for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic planning and execution: Lead the development and implementation of annual and quarterly eCommerce plans to meet defined business goals for your Industry.

    • Create innovative programs, pilots, and tests to drive measurable results and customer experience improvements.

    • Define high-impact improvement areas, and turn them into actionable, detailed plans.

  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate with key internal teams (e.g. IPEM industry team, DEC Web Optimization, APM Paid Media etc.) to ensure alignment and execution across initiatives.

    • Partner with your stakeholders to refine content and positioning of customer experiences.

    • Understand key last touch channels (traffic, revenue) to enhance campaign effectiveness and contribution.

  • Customer experience and journey optimization: Understand and improve digital customer journeys using data-driven insights, personalization, and segmentation.

    • Leverage site capabilities to improve conversion funnels and site engagement.

    • Lead initiatives that enhance user experience and satisfaction across touchpoints.

  • Data and performance analytics: Utilize data and insights to monitor performance and guide decision-making.

    • Analyze finance- and web metrics, identify trends and gaps, and implement corrective actions as needed.

    • Produce performance reports and dashboards for your key stakeholders, offering insights and strategic recommendations.

    • Accurately forecast the financial landing for your industry to inform the business of the expected landing.

  • Executional excellence: Deliver on time and to a high standard of quality across all initiatives.

    • Synthesize large amounts of data into clear, actionable plans.

    • Ensure timely communication of risks, delays, and mitigation strategies. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in digital / eCommerce, product management, business strategy or product marketing (preferably in B2B or SaaS companies)

  • Experienced in navigating highly matrixed organizations and working with global teams

  • Customer-obsessed strategist with visionary mindset, who frequently questions the status quo

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at influencing within a matrixed organization

  • Proven stakeholder management, project management, and analytical skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI and web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Similarweb, Semrush etc.

  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Airtable, Figma, etc.

  • Experience in global teams and/or the technology industry

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $118,800 and $192,170. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
