Contributes to the development and leadership of our comprehensive, enterprise-wide digital content strategy, in close collaboration with the Digital Content Strategy leadership team. Maintains an organization-wide editorial calendar to tell the health system’s story across a wide range of multimedia channels such as multiple care-delivery websites, health and wellness blogs, marketing campaigns, and consumer-first digital products. Elevates the brand by ensuring a consistent voice and disciplined message is delivered in a creative, compelling and customizable way for each communication channel. Guides consumers through our brand journey, creating multiple content touchpoints that achieve maximum visibility and reach for Advocate Health’s services to, in turn, drive engagement, action and revenue. Establishes guidelines for the responsible use of AI while adapting AI-powered content solutions for future growth. This leader will work in close partnership with all teams in the division, including brand, marketing, consumer experience, social media and communications.
Major Responsibilities:
Contributes to the development and execution of Advocate Health’s data-driven digital content strategy for corporate storytelling, consumer-product marketing and owned health and wellness content.
Develops and executes enterprise-wide digital service line content strategy across multiple regional websites.
Oversees website content migrations along with digital platform and technology integration strategies. Aligns existing and new website migration plans to the overall digital road map. Partners with key stakeholders to ensure platform integrations achieve operational efficiencies, scalability to grow with the organization, and provide a seamless and unified consumer experience.
Leads the successful creation, rollout and adoption of content models, user journey taxonomies and frameworks to enable AI tools and other service delivery channels.
Develops and maintains an enterprise-wide editorial calendar to coordinate consumer-first, digital storytelling efforts and ensure consistent approach to maximize brand awareness.
Establishes mechanism to measure strategy effectiveness and to showcase success stories to key internal and external stakeholders.
Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with internal cross-functional partners and service line subject matter experts across the enterprise.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
None Required.
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, or
Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or related field.
Experience Required:
Typically requires 7 years of experience in developing and implementing content strategy, managing editorial production, and leading team of content creators and editorial calendars.
