  • Partner with QA and DevOps on automated testing, CI/CD, release readiness, observability, and production troubleshooting.
  • Use application telemetry and journey analytics to identify architecture improvements and reduce failures and technical debt.
  • Design and validate AI-enabled digital capabilities, such as conversational assistance and workflow automation, with secure enterprise API integration, response evaluation, human escalation, and monitoring.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, secure session handling, and identity provider integrations.
  • Ability to balance usability, accessibility, performance, security, and delivery constraints and communicate design tradeoffs clearly.
  • Ability to mentor engineers and influence technical decisions across distributed teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Hands-on ability to integrate AI and generative AI services into web applications and supporting services, including prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool or API integration, and controls for prompt injection, data exposure, response quality, latency, and cost.

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least 8 years of software development experience, including 3 years in digital solution architecture or a comparable technical leadership role.
  • Experience delivering customer-facing web applications and integrating digital channels with enterprise systems.

  • Relevant Guidewire, AWS, or architecture certifications.
  • Experience with Auth0 or Okta, payment integrations, document platforms, and insurance data services.
