We are currently seeking a strategic and results-oriented Capture Manager for a 100% remote position to lead business growth within the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This role is ideal for a savvy and relationship-driven Capture professional with a deep understanding of the federal healthcare IT market and strong connections across the Defense Health community. The Capture Manager will develop and execute strategies that position VetsEZ to win new contracts supporting DHA’s mission of medical readiness and health system modernization. The ideal candidate brings a track record of success leading complex capture efforts, leveraging established networks, and delivering measurable growth.

The candidate must reside within the continental US.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead capture initiatives focused on DHA and related government healthcare agencies.
  • Develop and execute winning capture strategies that align with DHA mission needs and modernization priorities.
  • Identify, qualify, and shape opportunities across EHR modernization, interoperability, and digital health transformation.
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with DHA stakeholders, program executives, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with technical and proposal teams to define innovative solutions and compelling value propositions.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform bid strategies and teaming decisions.
  • Manage capture plans, gate reviews, and resource coordination to ensure on-time high-quality execution.
  • Contribute to various projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a collaborative mindset.
  • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • 7+ years of experience in capture management, business development, or proposal leadership within DHA or government health IT programs.
  • Demonstrated success leading captures exceeding $20M+ in value.
  • Established relationships and proven success engaging DHA decision-makers and contracting officers.
  • Background in technology or management consulting, including ERP applications, cloud modernization, or system integration.
  • Strong understanding of the federal acquisition lifecycle, IDIQ/GWAC vehicles, and procurement processes.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives and government leadership.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, GovWin, SAM.gov, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Defense Health IT modernization, EHR integration, and joint medical interoperability programs.
  • Experience supporting VA or other government health IT initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Shipley or APMP certification preferred.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
