Dark Wolf is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Defensive Cyber Operations rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment. This position requires onsite support at Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. This team will be based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Key responsibilities include but are nto limited to: 

  • Ensuring that development and software continuous delivery and integrations uses security best practices throughout the process.
  • Ensuring capabilities deployed meet security requirements and test.
  • Working with cloud deployment activities to ensure configurations meet STIG or DOD required security standards.
  • Supporting the design, implementation, and management of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab under supervision.
  • Assisting in integrating security protocols within DevSecOps workflows.
  • Collaborating with team members to manage infrastructure and configuration using tools like Terraform and Ansible. 
  • Gaining hands-on experience with cloud systems, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, by supporting deployments and architecture setups.
  • Learning and assisting in software development using Java and Python.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in technical roles related to DevSecOps, development, or system operations
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Node/JS, Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Python
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps concepts and tools Exposure to coding, CI/CD tools, or cloud architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline SAFe certification for Teams, OR the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Active Top Secret security clearance

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Cloud migration experience

This position will be fully on-site in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
