Job Description

About the Internship:

This 3-month hands-on training internship is designed to equip you with real-world, practical skills in DevOps. While it is an unpaid position, it offers a chance to work on live projects, gain deep technical insights, and build a strong foundation for your career. By the end of the program, you’ll have the knowledge and experience to confidently contribute to modern DevOps practices.

 

What You’ll Learn:

• CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

• Cloud Computing: Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for infrastructure management.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Learn to automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

• Containerization & Orchestration: Work with Docker and Kubernetes to build and manage containerized applications.

• Monitoring & Logging: Set up monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack to track application performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Version Control & Collaboration: Use Git for version control and participate in agile development workflows.

• Security Practices: Learn best practices for securing applications, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Real-World Problem Solving: Tackle live DevOps challenges while contributing to real projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development teams.

• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using IaC tools.

• Support containerization efforts and application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Monitor application and infrastructure performance, identifying and resolving issues proactively.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflows and optimize system performance.

• Document processes, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.

 

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for DevOps: A strong interest in automation, cloud computing, and modern software development practices.

• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Linux, shell scripting, or a programming language (Python preferred). Familiarity with Git and cloud platforms is a plus.

• Problem-Solving Mindset: Eager to learn, experiment, and tackle challenges.

• Team Player: Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with others.

• Education: Computer Science, IT, or related field (students or recent graduates preferred).

Qualifications

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and graduating no earlier than December 2025
  • Possess a basic understanding of Machine learning/Deep learning theoretical knowledge and practical experience.
  • Has solid practical experience to systematically approach, design, and build a machine learning/deep learning solution, evaluate it, and productionize it.
  • Has strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Has experience in Python, JavaScript, and operating systems (ie Linux)
  • Has experience with Kubernetes and Docker, deployments to distributed systems, and integrating REST API
  • Has high levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities
  • Has demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications, is a plus
  • Has experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)/Natural Language Understanding (NLU) based solutions, is a plus
