This position requires an active U.S. Government Security Clearance at the TS/SCI level with CI polygraph.
Vantor is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support the development, integration, and operational deployment of mission-critical capabilities supporting Space Domain Awareness (SDA), counter-space, and national security space operations. In this role, you will help implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, and deployment environments used to integrate and field advanced analytics, sensor fusion, and operational mission applications across multiple classified and operational networks.
This position supports the Air & Space Portfolio with government customers focused on space superiority, orbital threat monitoring, space object tracking, and operational decision advantage in contested space environments.
In this role, you will support the DevOps infrastructure enabling the rapid integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of mission-critical space and counter-space capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in deploying and maintaining Kubernetes environments (EKS, RKE).
Implement infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support software integration and deployment.
Integrate security and static code analysis tools into DevOps pipelines.
Support deployments in cloud environments.
Collaborate with software and systems engineers to automate testing and documentation workflows.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and pipeline issues.
Support configuration management and release processes for deployed systems.
Monitor deployed applications and infrastructure to ensure reliability and performance.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a current/active TS/SCI and be willing and able to pass a CI polygraph.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Additional experience may substitute for a degree.
4+ years of relevant DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering experience.
Experience with Git or other source control tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, and Ansible).
Experience working with Linux systems (RedHat or Amazon Linux preferred).
Familiarity with containerization technologies and Kubernetes.
Understanding of cloud environments (AWS preferred).
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Must be able to travel 3 days out of the month.
Preferred Qualifications:
Security+ or similar IAT level 2 certification.
Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes application packaging.
Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Exposure to static analysis tools such as Fortify or SonarQube.
Experience supporting applications in production environments.
Knowledge of web services and SQL databases.

The listed range reflects the expected pay for this position, and final offers will be determined based on each candidate’s experience, expertise, and alignment with the role.
● The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $102,000.00 - $136,000.00 - $149,600.00 annually. ● The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $113,000.00 - $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually.For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
