- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment pipelines using Ansible and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure integration solutions are developer-friendly, scalable, and secure.
- Contribute to the adoption and continuous improvement of SAFe agile methodologies across the organization.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex middleware, deployment, and integration issues across multiple environments.
- Document architecture, processes, and best practices to ensure knowledge transfer and operational excellence.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively recommending improvements to existing systems.
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in middleware engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and/or release management.
- Proficient in automation and configuration management, preferably Ansible.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with the ability to develop, test, and maintain automation scripts and middleware services.
- Demonstrated experience working in organizations leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong developer-first mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred:
- Certifications in Azure DevOps, Ansible, or SAFe.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools relevant to middleware stacks.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies: IBM MQ, IBM API Connect, IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM Cast Iron.
