Job Description:
The DevOps Engineer builds, improves, and supports CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and automated infrastructure to enable fast, stable, and secure software delivery. Working closely with developers and engineering teams, this role manages deployment workflows, monitors system health, and implements DevOps best practices across the environment. The position requires hands‑on technical problem‑solving and a collaborative mindset in support of mission‑ready systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Support and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GovCloud environments.
- Work with containerization technologies including Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes/ECS/EKS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code solutions using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement automated deployment workflows and environment provisioning.
- Monitor system health and performance using CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, Prometheus, or similar tools.
- Troubleshoot issues across builds, deployments, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with developers on DevOps best practices and development workflows.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, SRE, or Systems Engineering.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure).
- Practical skills with CI/CD tools and automated testing pipelines.
- Familiarity with Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Understanding of containerization (Docker) and ideally orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong Git and version control fundamentals.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile engineering environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC frameworks.
- Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, or AKS.
- Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks including Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
- Networking and cloud security fundamentals.
- Experience supporting DoD/IC programs, secure cloud deployments, or mission‑focused systems.
Cubic pay range: 52,320.00 – 87,200.00 – 113,360.00 USD Annual plus benefits
