Job Summary:
The DevOps Engineer II is responsible for maintaining an understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), and configuration management.
Essential Functions:
- Support and help develop DevOps standards and best practices related to Source Code Management, Continuous Integration, Artifact Mangement, and Continuous Deployment
- Help streamline and automate the SDLC process, ensuring compliance requirements are met while improving delivery times
- Support development teams with troubleshooting build and deployment failures when they arise, including working incidents as needed
- Deploy and maintain tools and applications on cloud-native architecture and CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments
- Serve as an escalation point for problems and inquiries requiring further evaluation beyond the associate skill level
- Be familiar with industry trends and best practices for DevOps
- Participate in on-call rotation activities when needed
- Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and Experience:
- Associates Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent years of relevant work experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a medium to large operating environment required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and workflows
- Minimum of two (2) year of programming or system analysis experience
- Experience working in an Agile environment

- Proficient in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, GitHub, Visual Studio, Artifactory, SonarQube, Harness)
- Proficient in scripting and programming (e.g. Bash, Python, TypeScript, and PowerShell)
- Proficient in working with Windows, Linux, and containerized environments

Compensation Range:
$70,800.00 - $113,200.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate’s education, training, and experience as well as the position’s scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level. In addition to base compensation, you may qualify for a bonus tied to company and individual performance.
