Position Summary:

The Manager, Devops at Perforce is searching for a DevOps Engineer to design and build the next-generation cloud platform for Perforce’s SaaS product portfolio to ensure the security, reliability, and high availability of all our production & CI/CD environments and applications. In this  vital role, you will drive contribute to the design, development, & Implementation of automated tools and technologies to enable efficient delivery and service management of the production services & release deliveries.

Responsibilities:

  • Build platforms and frameworks to create consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of applications and infrastructure between non-production and production environment
  • Collaborate with engineers and DevOps developers on Cloud technology and practice.
  • Adhere to application security best practices throughout the agile SDLC
  • Contribute to the development and enhancements of our CI/CD pipeline infrastructure/tools.
  • Align and adopt technical design principles and practices across all product portfolios to make operation design a vital phase of the development lifecycle
  • Participate in developing a technical design for our cloud platform and work closely with Dev and DevOps teams to ensure that the product meets our quality standards

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in the SaaS software cloud operation & development space.
  • Strong understanding and experience with core AWS / GCP services like Compute, Network, Database, Security, Management & Observability
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Ruby, Go, Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker container technology
  • Hands-on experience as a Platform developer
  • Knowledge of cloud-based scalable web application architectures and technologies; AWS, GCP preferred
  • Understanding of secure SDLC practices with DevSecOps principles
  • Hands-on development with infrastructure as code frameworks; Terraform and Serverless Framework a plus
  • Experience in DevOps automation tools like Terraform, Puppet, AWS Cloud Formation, and Azure ARM templates
