Key Responsibilities:

System Automation & Deployment

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery and integration of software.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Infrastructure Management

  • Manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Monitor system health and performance using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog and proactively address potential issues.

Collaboration and Process Improvement

  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Work with QA teams to automate testing processes and improve build quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to reduce deployment times and operational costs.

Security and Compliance

  • Implement robust security measures in infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD processes.
  • Ensure systems meet compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST).

Incident Management and Support

  • Lead incident response efforts to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation, runbooks, and knowledge bases for systems and processes.

Qualifications:

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), or similar role.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Solid understanding of networking, Linux/Unix systems, and database management.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with observability and logging tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Splunk).
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer).
