About SwipeAras
SwipeAras is a payments company built on Adyen's Balance Platform. We help merchants process payments, manage risk, and scale their businesses through modern payment infrastructure.
About the Role
We're hiring our first Developer & Partner Relations team member—a new role designed to accelerate merchant growth by making integration with SwipeAras as seamless as possible. You'll be the primary point of contact for merchants and their technical teams as they integrate with our platform, and you'll own the relationships with technology partners (NetSuite, Connective, and others) whose integrations extend the value of our API.
This is not an engineering role. You'll be the connective tissue between our merchants, our internal engineering team, and our partner ecosystem—guiding integrations, building out our support knowledge base, and training AI-powered support tools to help merchants self-serve.
What You'll Do
Merchant Integration Support
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for merchants and their development teams during integration with the SwipeAras platform
- Guide merchants through API integration, answer technical questions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful onboarding
- Translate merchant needs and feedback to the internal engineering team
Partner Relations
- Own relationships with technology partners such as Oracle NetSuite, Connective, and other integration platforms
- Understand the technical capabilities and boundaries of each partner platform
- Define integration requirements that serve both the merchant experience and SwipeAras business goals
- Coordinate with partners and internal teams to bring new integrations to market
Support Infrastructure & AI Knowledge Base
- Build and maintain an internal support knowledge base using SparrowDesk (or similar platform)
- Train and refine AI-powered support tools so merchants can get faster answers to common integration questions
- Document integration patterns, FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and best practices
- Continuously improve the self-service support experience based on merchant feedback and ticket trends
Revenue Enablement
- Enable revenue growth by reducing integration friction and accelerating merchant time-to-live
- Identify patterns in merchant support requests that signal product or documentation gaps
- Advocate for merchant needs internally to improve the overall developer experience
What We're Looking For
- Experience in developer relations, technical support, solutions engineering, or a similar merchant/customer-facing technical role
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and payment platform integrations
- Ability to read and understand code (you don't need to be a full-time developer, but you need to be comfortable in technical conversations)
- Experience with or willingness to learn AI-powered support tooling (chatbots, knowledge base platforms like SparrowDesk/Intercom)
- Excellent written and verbal communication—you'll be translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders constantly
- Self-starter mentality; this is a new role and you'll be building processes from scratch
- Familiarity with payment platforms (Adyen, Stripe, etc.) is a strong plus
- Experience with ERP/e-commerce integrations (NetSuite, Shopify, etc.) is a strong plus
SwipeAras is an equal opportunity employer.
