Summary: 

DaVita’s Compliance team, “Team Quest” identifies, develops, and implements strategies to mitigate risk in a quickly evolving healthcare regulatory landscape. 

As a Developer for the Compliance Data and Analytics team, you will be responsible for developing system integrations, automated reporting, dashboards, and providing analysis to support Team Quest. The Developer is expected to improve and/or automate existing processes, create efficiencies, independently lead analyses, develop relationships with internal stakeholders and lead cross-functional work with support teams. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Development:  
    • Design and develop system integration, data warehousing solutions, descriptive and statistical analysis, and automated processes.  
    • Data profiling and exploration to understand key databases and tool APIs.  
    • Identify root cause of data inconsistencies, even if occurring upstream, and implement collaborative solutions to remediate issues. 
  • Quality Assurance (QA): Review completed development to ensure it meets the acceptance criteria and team standards for quality, consistency. Document QA accordingly. 
  • Support Project Management and Communication: Support Product Manager in developing project plans, ensuring consistent communication to stakeholders, and take accountability for fulfilling product needs. 
  • Engage in Scrum Ceremonies: Engage in sprint planning, feature and technical backlog refinement, sprint retrospectives, and team standups. Support peers with raised issues, provide feedback to Product Manager and Scrum Master. 
  • Technical Documentation and Data Modeling: Document and profile data models to understand key databases, utilize new APIs, and setup integrations. Create technical documentation for products, functionality, usage guides, etc. 
  • Support and Engage with Process Improvement: Provide input to team process improvement, support Scrum Master and team leaders with change management. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree – STEM or Business.
  • 1+ Year experience with SQL, JavaScript, or other programming languages used for data analytics. 
  • 1+ Year experience with Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools. 
  • Ability to learn new systems, reporting and ETL tools quickly. 

Preferred

  • Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. 
  • Experience with ETL development or database management. 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

The Salary Range for the role is $57,784.00 - $85,000.00 per year.
