Design Lead

Plasma is a purpose-built blockchain for stablecoin payments. Engineered from the ground up to address the unique needs of stablecoins, Plasma provides a scalable, efficient, and secure foundation for the next generation of money movement. We believe stablecoins can transform global finance and improve financial access worldwide. To reach the next level of adoption, dedicated and purpose-built infrastructure is required.

We are looking for a Design Lead to define and lead the visual and product experience of Plasma. You will own design across every surface: brand, product, website, external comms and help translate our technical vision into a visual language that resonates across the world. Your work will shape how the industry, developers, and institutions perceive Plasma and interact with it.

You will collaborate closely with product, growth, and leadership to ensure that everything we ship from dashboards to wallets to docs feels cohesive, modern, and world-class. This role is both hands-on and strategic: you’ll design, direct, and scale a high-performing design function as we grow.

• Lead design across Plasma’s web apps, developer tools, and internal dashboards

• Shape and maintain a consistent visual identity that communicates Plasma’s ambition and clarity

• Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and growth to ship intuitive and elegant user experiences

• Set up and maintain a robust design system and workflows that scale with the team

• Guide brand and marketing design for external comms, including social, events, and campaigns

• 3+ years of experience in product or brand design at high-growth startups or crypto companies

• A master of simplicity. Your work is clean, sharp, and thoughtful

• Able to own end-to-end design execution, from high-level strategy to pixel-perfect output

• Comfortable designing in Figma, writing in Notion, and shipping alongside engineers

• Deeply thoughtful about product design, interaction flows, and UX for crypto-native products

• Experience working in cross-functional product squads

• Comfortable in high-velocity environments where priorities shift quickly and you’re expected to lead without being told what to do

• Previous experience designing in crypto, fintech, or technical infrastructure products

• Strong instincts for information architecture and systems thinking

• Motion experience

• Understanding of crypto UX patterns and interactions

• Familiarity with blockchain concepts
