The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Deployment Strategist to define scalable deployment patterns, delivery playbooks, and post-sale success mechanisms that maximize customer ROI and compress time-to-value.

This role shapes how proven deployments are repeated and how they are explained to the market—through blogs, white papers, use cases, customer stories, and reference materials. You will turn real deployment insights into clear, repeatable patterns and feed them into the platform’s execution system, where AI helps produce consistent, field-grounded content that improves deployment outcomes and strengthens our go-to-market motion.

You will operate as an elite advisor focused on business value and opportunity cost—shifting the organization from “can we do this?” to “should we do this?” for customers and partners. This role does not modify core platform behavior; platform changes flow through the platform’s controlled execution and release path.

This is a hands-on role with 25-50% travel for someone who thrives in a high-ownership setting and wants to scale customer value through repeatable, field-tested execution.

What You’ll Do
  • Define and refine scalable deployment patterns and playbooks that reduce friction, improve repeatability, and maximize customer ROI.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customer and partner executives, traveling to work along side them 25-50% of the time and helping prioritize opportunities based on impact, constraints, and opportunity cost.

  • Own success frameworks and KPIs that define what “value delivered” means across deployments, and build mechanisms that drive adoption and expansion.

  • Partner with FDEs, engineering, product, and commercial teams to translate deployment learnings into scalable delivery systems and requirements.

  • Shape how proven deployments are explained externally by producing field-grounded reference materials—blogs, white papers, use cases, customer stories, and playbooks—using AI to generate consistent artifacts quickly, then refining with judgment and real-world validation.

  • Identify and eliminate failure modes and friction points across delivery by improving playbooks, instrumentation, and execution standards.

  • Operate in an AI-native way: direct AI tools to synthesize deployment insights, build reusable artifacts, and accelerate iteration, while ensuring delivery patterns and guidance remain accurate, grounded, and consistent.

What Success Looks Like

In your first 3 months, you will have:

  • Taken full ownership of at least one customer account or deployment motion and delivered measurable customer value through improved deployment strategy, prioritization, and execution.

  • Built and shipped at least one repeatable deployment pattern or playbook that reduces delivery friction and improves time-to-value.

  • Produced at least one field-grounded reference artifact (use case, story, playbook, or white paper) that improves partner/customer understanding and accelerates adoption.

In your first year, you will be:

  • Driving measurable improvements in customer ROI, time-to-value, and deployment repeatability across the commercial portfolio.

  • Establishing durable success KPIs and scalable deployment systems that enable partners and internal teams to deliver value with lower variance.

  • Operating as a trusted executive advisor who consistently improves “should we” decision-making and materially increases pipeline conversion and expansion through clearer value articulation and execution.

Who You Are
  • 7+ years in systems architecture, technical delivery strategy, customer success engineering, deployment leadership, consulting, or a similar role focused on large, complex deployments.

  • Strong ability to quantify ROI and business value, prioritize opportunity cost, and guide executive decision-making under constraints.

  • Deep comfort working across infrastructure, security, networking, data systems, and applied AI, with the ability to operate credibly in technical discussions.

  • Strong operational discipline and comfort designing playbooks and success KPIs that drive repeatable outcomes.

  • Proficient with modern technical and analytical tooling used for delivery strategy and enablement (e.g., cloud/edge infrastructure concepts, APIs, dashboards/BI, and structured documentation workflows).

  • Clear communicator who can synthesize complex deployments into crisp patterns and compelling, field-grounded narratives.

  • Ownership mindset: outcomes over tasks.

Unique Experiences We Value
  • Building repeatable deployment strategies and playbooks that scale across multiple customers and partners, including success KPIs and post-sale operating models.

  • Experience producing high-quality field-grounded enablement materials (use cases, customer stories, reference architectures, blogs/white papers) that accelerate adoption and improve executive understanding.

  • Strong technical background across edge or distributed systems (e.g., Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, networking/security fundamentals, data pipelines) and the ability to translate them into scalable guidance.

  • Experience working with applied AI and AI-enabled systems in real environments, including how to scope, deploy, measure outcomes, and manage operational risk.

  • AI-native operating experience: using AI tools to accelerate synthesis, writing, artifact generation, and workflow iteration—then refining with judgment and real-world validation.

Benefits
  • We work in a high-ownership, real-world startup environment where you’ll move fast, build new systems, and see your impact immediately—what you ship runs in the field and drives measurable customer outcomes.

  • We work alongside AI every day. Writing static code, docs, or plans “by hand” is no longer accepted—here you’ll use the latest AI tools to iterate and ship faster and to apply AI with our customers at scale.

  • You’ll take on elite technical challenges at the frontier of infrastructure, including next-generation cloud and IoT, hardware/software/networking in real-world edge environments, the foundation for data and AI inference, and industry-leading secure systems in demanding operational (OT) settings.

  • You’ll learn fast by working with exceptional teammates and collaborating directly with industry leaders as partners in software, AI, and infrastructure.

  • Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. This role has a base salary range of $170,000–$215,000.

  • Total compensation for this role includes equity in your work. You are eligible for meaningful equity through stock options in an early-stage, high-growth company.

  • You are eligible to participate in company benefit plans, which may include health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with company match, flexible PTO, paid parental leave, commuter benefits, and relocation and visa support for eligible roles.
