Comcast Technology Solutions(CTS) is a software technology company based in Denver, Colorado, USA. We specialize in helping TV stations, pay TV operators, content distributors, broadband media sites, and mobile businesses with their media management, video publishing, and web streaming needs.
Our Cloud Video Platform (CVP) is a service that offers a wide range of products to our customers. With Comcast CVP, customers can securely manage their digital media, publish content to various connected devices, and monetize their content distribution directly to consumers. CTS consists of software and video professionals in sales/marketing, product engineering, and operations/professional services. Job Description

This role is based in Centennial, CO and is not approved for remote employment. 

Core Responsibilities 
• Customer Experience: Resolve tickets using product knowledge, respond quickly to critical issues, share client feedback to improve services, and create and improve documentation based on ticket insights.
• Troubleshooting & Analysis: Troubleshoot and repair issues, lead technical outage bridges, analyze complex system problems, and perform maintenance activities with minimal supervision.
• Proactive Tracking: Track operational workflows, analyze data and metrics, identify problem areas, and provide actionable insights to enhance performance.
• Project & Script Development: Support projects as a technical resource, ensure successful implementation, develop utility and monitoring scripts using Python, JavaScript, and AWS, and contribute to design considerations for new products or changes to existing ones.
• Product & Configuration: Assist in application configuration, perform routine maintenance tests to minimize impact, and analyze problems in design, configuration, data flow, and data state within complex systems.
• Global Team & On-call: Maintain consistent attendance, provide regular training and guidance to less experienced team members, participate in on-call duties with flexibility for nights and weekends, and engage appropriate resources to drive issues to closure.
• Professional Growth: Enrich your professional development through organizational, team, and self-driven projects, with dedicated time to work towards your goals and opportunities to contribute to meaningful initiatives.

 

Must Have Skills:
• At least 2 years' experience in technical support or a technical role.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of web services (HTTP, Web API, Web protocols).
• Working experience in Python.
• Understanding of Git.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Linux CLI.

 

Desirable Skills:
• Familiarity/Experience with configuring and deploying software components on Amazon Web Services (AWS); this should include S3 Buckets, Lambda Functions and Dynamo DB.
• Familiarity/Experience with Operating System Level virtualization such as Kubernetes and Docker.
• Experience with JavaScript and Java.

Compensation

Primary Location Pay Range: $74,339.76 - $111,509.64

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
