The Deal Desk Specialist prepares quotes, supports the sales team, ensures data accuracy, and communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Position Summary:
Deal Desk, within Global Sales Operations at Perforce is searching for a Deal Desk Specialist to join the team. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter in a role where every day is a mix of problem-solving, teamwork, and making customers happy. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven person to join our team as Deal Desk Specialist.
In this role, you’ll be the go-to partner for our sales team—turning requests into accurate quotes, supporting enablement of the sales team for quote help and helping ensure that everything flows smoothly from start to finish. You’ll learn the ins and outs of sales operations, deal structure, customer service, and quote creation while being part of a friendly, supportive environment that wants to see you grow.
Responsibilities:
- Quote Preparation and Support:
- Turn customer requests into accurate, polished quotes that make our sales team shine.
- Partner with sales reps to clarify details and meet deadlines with ease.
- Assist Sales Reps and Sales Team with quote creation.
- Assist with quote questions and best practices.
- Communicating and upholding company policies and procedures.
- Confirm order specifics with sales reps and RevOps teams to keep things on track.
- Customer & Internal Communication:
- Be a helpful, responsive contact for the sales team asking about quoting, timelines, or pricing.
- Provide top-tier service and follow through to make sure everyone’s happy.
- Collaboration:
- Work side-by-side with sales, operations, finance, legal and fulfillment to keep things running smoothly.
- Flag and solve any issues—whether it’s a pricing discrepancy, a replacement product, or incomplete details to name a few.
- Data Accuracy & Compliance:
- Keep our CRM and order systems spotless with up-to-date records.
- Follow company guidelines so every quote and order meets company standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Salesforce (SFDC) and CPQ knowledge and experience highly desired.
- Clear, friendly communication skills—written and verbal.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- A quick learner who can pick up Salesforce or CPQ systems fast.
- A customer-first attitude with a can-do mindset.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks without breaking a sweat.
- Experience in customer service, sales support, or order entry.
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, or quoting tools.
- A basic understanding of pricing, invoicing, or sales processes.
