Role: Data & AI Service Line – Sales Leader & SME

Role Overview
The Data & AI Service Line Sales Leader & SME is responsible for driving revenue growth across US enterprise accounts by positioning Data, Analytics, AI, and GenAI capabilities as strategic transformation enablers.
This role serves as the most trusted Data & AI advisor to customers and internal vertical leaders, owning end-to-end deal cycles and expanding strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership & Deal Closure
• Own revenue targets for Data & AI service line within the US market
• Drive pipeline generation in collaboration with vertical sales leaders
• Lead strategic deal pursuits from opportunity identification to closure
• Structure commercial models (T&M, fixed price, managed services, outcome-based)
• Improve win ratios through strong solution positioning and executive engagement
2. Trusted Advisor to Customers & Verticals
• Serve as the primary Data & AI SME for enterprise clients
• Engage CIO, CDO, CTO, and business leaders on data modernization and AI strategy
• Translate business challenges into scalable Data & AI programs
• Provide thought leadership in executive workshops and industry forums
3. Account Growth & Relationship Management
• Strengthen relationships in existing key accounts
• Drive account mining and expansion initiatives
• Act as escalation point for Data & AI-related delivery or transformation challenges
• Ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivery execution
4. Solution Strategy & Market Positioning
• Shape differentiated Data & AI value propositions for US market
• Collaborate with delivery and pre-sales teams to develop winning proposals
• Contribute to accelerators, frameworks, and AI-led transformation offerings
• Identify strategic partnerships and ecosystem opportunities
5. Cross-Functional Leadership
• Align with global delivery teams to ensure capacity and capability readiness
• Coordinate with marketing for campaigns, case studies, and industry messaging
• Mentor vertical sales teams on Data & AI positioning
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Annual revenue growth for Data & AI in US market
• Pipeline coverage ratio and deal conversion rate
• Strategic deal wins (>$X million threshold as defined)
• Growth within top enterprise accounts
• Executive relationship index and customer satisfaction
Required Experience
• 15+ years in Data, Analytics, AI, or Digital Transformation
• 5+ years in enterprise solution selling in the US market
• Demonstrated experience closing multi-million-dollar deals
• Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience engaging US enterprise CXOs
