We are seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database administration, excellent technical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and maintain database systems to ensure data integrity, security, and performance.
2. Develop and implement database architectures, data models, and schema.
3. Ensure database security, backup, and recovery procedures are in place.
4. Optimize database performance, query optimization, and indexing.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and operations.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including data corruption and performance degradation.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and database best practices.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Advanced degree (e.g., MS) preferred.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience in database administration.
4. Professional certifications, such as Oracle OCP, Microsoft MCSE, or IBM DB2.
5. Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Proficiency in database management systems, such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or IBM DB2.
