Job Description:

Software Engineer, Data Systems

Broadcom’s Fort Collins Colorado semiconductor operation is looking for the right person to join our team of software professionals and data systems engineers who will enhance our ability to deliver highly integrated and highly available manufacturing applications now and in the future.

Successful candidates will have a record of sustained technical leadership, software development, data analysis, and professional growth.

Broadcom is a global provider of an extensive range of analog, mixed-signal and optoelectronic components and subsystems to more than 40,000 end customers, including many of the world’s top original equipment manufacturers The Fort Collins wafer fabrication facility is part of Broadcom's Wireless Semiconductor Division, delivering RF Filters and Front-end module solutions to the wireless communications industry. Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s in Software, Computer, Data Science, or related engineering degree.
  • 5 years engineering experience with coding in languages including: Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, Java, C#, C/C++, HTML, CSS, JS, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with statistical methods for manufacturing process control (SPC) and data analysis.
  • Experience with semiconductor manufacturing and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Ability to work on site in Fort Collins, Colorado. This is not a remote work opportunity.
  • Ability to cover on-call application support on a rotational basis.

Preferred Skills

  • Business process analysis, lean manufacturing, quality management, and software requirements definition.
  • Experience with web development frameworks and technologies like DevExpress, Blazor, JavaScript, .NET Web Forms, and web services.
  • Advanced scripting experience with languages like Bash, Perl, PowerShell, and Python.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, problem solving, customer service, and influencing skills.
  • Advanced skills with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Configuration Management (CM), Revision Control, Testing, and Release Automation (ARA).
  • Track record of customer engagement to consultation
  • Experience building intuitive user interfaces to drive improvements in the user experience (UI/UX)
  • Proficiency using third party applications including: Git, Confluence, Grafana, Spotfire, JMP, and Windows/Linux OS.

Compensation and Benefits

This annual base salary range for this position is $91,000 - $146,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with the relevant plan documents and equity in accordance with equity award agreements.
