Description

Founded in 2016, Lusha grew from a bootstrapped startup to a $1.5B unicorn, backed by $245M in investments and trusted by sales teams at Google, Zendesk, and Yotpo.

Lusha is changing the B2B sales experience with a new approach called Sales Streaming. It allows salespeople to search for any lead in the world, then our AI finds them better ones, keeps them streaming and does outreach for them. This means they can now spend most of their time actually selling.

With 1.5M+ users, 200M+ contacts, and 40K new signups every month, we’re the engine behind modern GTM teams. And we’re just getting started.

Where does this role fit in our vision?

Every role at our company is designed with a clear purpose—to integrate collective efforts into our shared success, functioning as pieces of a collective brain. Machine learning and AI are at the center of Lusha’s strategy and are imperative to Lusha’s continuous success.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Solving complex business problems using ML and data-driven techniques, using a wide range of both classic and relevant SOTA algorithms and technologies.
  • Working against business stakeholders to identify, well-define, and prioritize business problems to be solved through DS\ML pipelines.
  • Developing data-driven recommendation systems that directly increase user engagement, revenue growth, and customer retention.
  • Defining success criteria for each goal, building and owning the monitoring flow and maintenance plan for each solution.
  • Collaborating closely with a cross-functional Data Science team consisting of ML engineers, product managers, and data engineers.
  • Continuously self-learning, growing professionally, and mentoring younger team members.

Requirements

  • MSc or PhD in a relevant quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Physics, Engineering) with a thesis.
  • Proficiency with Python (Spark, Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn).
  • Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark).
  • Proven experience with GenAI tools to enhance productivity - mandatory.
  • Proven track record of deploying end-to-end ML models into production.

On a personal level:

  • Collaboration: You are a true team player who thrives in cross-functional teamwork, working seamlessly with other teams while leading efforts within the Lusha data science team in a collaborative manner.
  • Independence & Ownership: You take initiative, pick up tasks quickly, and are capable of driving projects independently from ideation through to implementation. You plan, execute, and deliver End-to-End results without requiring constant supervision.
  • Ambitious. You are eager to make an impact and lead by example. You want to grow, you thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic, growth environment, and can operate at the strategic level and the micro-detail to get things done.
  • Results-driven. You have a can-do approach, drive to exceed your goals
  • Business-oriented. You are interested in our business, products, and services and know how to translate business needs into ML solutions.
  • Organized. You can manage highly interdependent, multifaceted projects and keep various work streams on track - even those with many moving parts.
  • Story Teller. You have good communication skills and are confident in presenting your results and ideas clearly and concisely.

Preferred:

  • Recommender systems experience - advantage
  • Agentic systems experience - advantage.

We’re dreamers, innovators, and learners, driven by simplicity, collaboration, and trust.
