Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:
- Owning thorough statistical knowledge with preference given to experience with time-series forecasting and machine learning;
- Having a thorough knowledge of software engineering industry-leading practices, including version control, Github, testing, and validation;
- Performing complex data analysis using tools such as Python (pandas, Anaconda python distribution);
- Demonstrating experience with API or rest service integrations, advanced SQL (common table expressions, use of temp tables, indexing), and other technical methods to extract and combine data from various sources;
- Displaying experience with SQL Server, as well as data transformation tools such as SSIS, Informatica, and DBT;
- Exhibiting experience working with financial data providers such as S&P Global, Refinitiv, Dealogic, or Audit Analytics;
- Being responsible for the creation and maintenance of data science pipelines with a focus on time series forecasting and model evaluation;
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex datasets;
- Building and managing ETL processes to transform data and schedule jobs;
- Working on multiple projects simultaneously;
- Revealing a conviction to high standards for data quality with a client-service focus;
- Taking ownership of developing relationships across the organization and serving as a data subject matter specialist (SMS);
- Laboring independently and with a team and able to efficiently communicate in written and verbal formats to both technical and non-technical audiences;
- Establishing relationships and work well across functions;
- Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting development and production environments;
- Cooperating with other areas of the firm to source data as needed;
- Possessing facilitation skills and the ability to coach/teach others;
- Demonstrating written and verbal communication skills, including problem/conflict resolution skills; and,
- Having direct engagement with functional leaders/staff and LOS leaders/staff.

The salary range for this position is: $89,000 - $315,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
