We are seeking a curious and analytical Data Scientist Intern to support data-driven decision-making across business and technology teams. This internship offers hands-on experience working with real-world datasets, building analytical models, and translating data insights into actionable outcomes.
This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a strong foundation in data science, analytics, and applied machine learning.
Internship DetailsDuration: 3 months, with potential extension based on performance
Work Mode: Remote
Stipend: Unpaid initially; performance-based evaluation in the first quarter may lead to a paid internship extension or full-time opportunity
Working Hours: 8 hours per day
Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data
Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns
Assist in building and validating statistical and machine learning models
Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights
Support data-driven decision-making through reports and presentations
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams
Document methodologies, findings, and outcomes
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of statistics and data analysis fundamentals
Proficiency in Python
Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn
Basic knowledge of SQL
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and workflows
Exposure to Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
Understanding of data pipelines and ETL concepts
Hands-on experience with real-world datasets and business problems
Practical exposure to data science and analytics workflows
Mentorship from experienced data scientists and engineers
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Certificate of Internship Completion upon successful completion
