About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Data Science Consultant in Channel Marketing Sciences as part of Consumer Data, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. This enterprise COE team is responsible for driving effectiveness of marketing channels with data enablement, measurement, and optimization insights across owned and paid marketing channels. In this role, you will:

  • Build measurement frameworks and solutions to assess performance of marketing channels and strategies
  • Interpret and analyze data, using advanced analytics methods and programming, to isolate patterns and analyze drivers that lead to recommendations to solve problems and influence business decisions and strategies
  • Review and analyze business, operational, technical assignments, or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives to convert data into meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Present recommendations and insights for resolving business needs and problems; exercise independent judgment while developing an expertise in analytic capabilities
  • Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders to drive recommendations and strategies based on data-driven analytical insights, trends, and patterns
  • Understand predictive analytics and Generative AI solutions and build actionable insights and recommendations on initiatives involving those
  • Design and apply algorithms to mine large sets of structured and unstructured data from various sources
  • Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and uniformity through cleaning and validation

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of data science experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science

Desired Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics with understanding of targeting, funnels, customer response, and sales outcomes, preferably in financial industry
  • 2+ years of experience in data programming experience with proven expertise in Hive, Python and/or BigQuery
  • 2+ years of experience in data reporting and visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$84,000.00 - $149,400.00
