Data Operations Specialist (Entry Level)
About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and curious Data Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their career who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and ensuring information is accurate and complete.
In this role, you'll help maintain and improve the quality of our data, support day-to-day operational processes, and collaborate with team members across the organization. You'll receive training and mentorship while building valuable skills in data operations, business systems, and process improvement.
What You'll Do
Review, validate, and update data across multiple systems.
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity.
Identify and resolve data discrepancies and inconsistencies.
Import, export, and organize datasets using spreadsheets and internal tools.
Assist with data cleanup and ongoing quality assurance projects.
Generate basic reports and track operational metrics.
Follow documented procedures and recommend process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve data-related issues.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Complete tasks accurately while meeting deadlines.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to learn.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with SQL or willingness to learn.
Familiarity with CRM or ERP systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, NetSuite, etc.).
Experience working with large datasets.
Basic understanding of data quality or reporting.
Previous internship, administrative, customer support, or operations experience.
