About the Role

MoeGo is seeking a Data Migration Program Manager to lead the effort of transitioning customer data from legacy systems to our platform. This is a high-impact, operationally complex role that sits at the intersection of customer success, technical execution, and product understanding. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for messy data, a structured mind, and a passion for making things clean, accurate, and scalable.

This is a hybrid role with working hours more aligned with the overseas team timezone, afternoon/evening hours (PST), ideal for managing a distributed team and collaborating with US-based stakeholders.

Please note that working hours are open for discussion based on business and personal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and improve the end-to-end data migration process for new customers

  • Communicate directly with customers to understand their data structure, priorities, and cleanup needs

  • Identify common patterns from major legacy software vendors and build data mapping templates to accelerate migration

  • Collaborate with internal Data Migration (DM) specialists to ensure accurate and timely execution

  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to continuously improve tooling and process

  • Create internal documentation, templates, and processes that improve the scalability and quality of migrations

  • Troubleshoot edge cases in messy or non-standard datasets, and help design solutions to resolve them

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Mandarin and English (written & spoken)

  • 3+ years of experience in data migration, data operations, onboarding, or implementation roles — preferably in SaaS or tech-enabled services

  • Strong analytical skills with an ability to understand, map, and normalize unstructured or inconsistent data

  • Experience working with external customer data and navigating ambiguity

  • Excellent communication skills — comfortable working directly with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Highly organized and process-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple migrations in parallel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with pet care, scheduling, CRM, or SMB SaaS platforms

  • Familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, Airtable, or custom data import pipelines

  • Strong collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • A problem-solver who proactively seeks inefficiencies and proposes scalable solutions.

MoeGo offers a competitive compensation package (base salary, performance bonus, and benefits). This includes flexible benefit plans to employees and their family members at no cost to the employees and 401(k) matching.

MoeGo is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment, and is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
