Job Description

Visa U.S.A., Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs a Data & Insights Analyst (multiple openings) in Highlands Ranch, CO to

  • Turn massive amounts of data into actionable insights that drive business value.
  • Build data products to maintain scorecard metrics.
  • Work with Visa’s clients and staff to improve portfolio performance, program profitability and cardholder experiences.
  • Provide in-depth analysis of cardholder behavior with Visa’s world-class products, digital offerings and marketing capabilities to ensure our clients’ programs operate at their peak potential and that cardholders have seamless commerce experiences in both the physical and digital world.
  • Solve real world business challenges for Visa issuing banks, merchants and acquirers.
  • Perform robust automation, effective visualization, and both experience and understanding of how to utilize big data environments.
  • Manage BAU reporting activities in parallel with projects and new initiatives having the adequate setting and balance of priorities.
  • Domestic and international travel required 5% -10% of the time.
  • Position reports to the Highlands Ranch, CO office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an analytic-related occupation.
  • Position requires experience in the following skills:
    • Extracting and manipulating data from large datasets using SQL via Hadoop;
    • Data manipulation in Tableau or similar tool;
    • Providing strategic data insights using big data tools Hadoop, Hive, Spark and/or SQL; and
    • Deriving analytic insights into client performance and delivering findings in visualization to external and internal stakeholders.

Additional Information

Worksite: Highlands Ranch, CO

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position requires domestic and international travel 5% -10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $112,500.00 to $179,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
