Simple Technology Solutions is looking for a Data Architect to add to our team.

Quick Position Overview:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • minimum of 5 years' position related experience is required
  • Public Trust Clearance Needed
  • This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Role:

We are seeking a Data Architect to design and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture that supports effective data collection, storage, integration, and reporting. This role is critical in ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with enterprise standards and policies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in building robust data solutions that serve both technical and business needs. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The Data Architect at STS will:

  • Design and implement logical and physical data models to support current and future business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata standards, and data governance processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and federal stakeholders to ensure the system’s data architecture supports usability, performance, and reporting needs.
  • Support ETL processes, data integration, and migration activities.
  • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and quality standards.
  • Analyze data flow and support enhancements to system APIs and backend data services.
  • Document architectural decisions and participate in technical design reviews..

Education and Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, and database management.
  • Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., SQL Server), data warehousing, and query optimization.
  • Experience with data governance, metadata management, and data quality tools.
  • Knowledge of security and privacy requirements for government data systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Must be able to work the hours of 8am-5pm Eastern Time regardless of your home location
