We're building our data capabilities and looking for a curious, analytical, and motivated Data Analyst to help us grow. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience working with business operations, technology, and data systems while learning how data supports real-world engineering and operational processes.
In this role, you'll work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to help turn data into actionable insights. You'll assist with reporting, dashboard creation, data quality initiatives, and analysis that helps improve inventory management, operational efficiency, and customer outcomes.
If you're passionate about data, enjoy solving problems, and are interested in learning more about how engineering, operations, and technology come together, we'd love to meet you.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, wants to develop their technical skills, and is excited to learn how analytics can support operational excellence and engineering-focused environments.
What You'll Do:
Understand the Architecture: Maintain, optimize, and scale our Snowflake data warehouse and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Expand Integrations: Connect new and existing data sources (NetSuite, Jira, custom portals, etc.) ensuring robust, clean, and reliable data ingestion.
Drive Business Intelligence: Own our BI layer (currently utilizing HEX), with the opportunity to evaluate and migrate to tools like Tableau or Looker as we scale.
Partner with Leadership: Work hand-in-hand with the COO to translate operational goals into data models, dashboards, and actionable insights.
Ensure Data Integrity: Act as the ultimate gatekeeper of data quality. You'll establish governance, document data models, and ensure a meticulous source of truth.
Experiment & Innovate: Stay creative. We want someone who suggests new tools, tests experimental models, and constantly looks for better ways to solve problems.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Act as the primary data consultant for operations, finance, and engineering leaders. Translate their real-world operational challenges into data models and actionable, automated dashboards.
The "Hybrid" Professional: You sit comfortably at the intersection of Data Engineering (building pipelines, data modeling) and Data Analytics (BI, dashboards, telling stories with data).
Meticulous & Detail-Oriented: You care deeply about clean code, accurate numbers, and reliable pipelines. "Good enough" isn't in your vocabulary when it comes to data integrity.
An Entrepreneurial Builder: You are excited by a blank canvas. You want to get your hands dirty, build from scratch, and take extreme ownership of your work.
Curious & Adaptive: You love to learn, experiment with new technologies, and pivot quickly when a better solution presents itself.
A High-Impact Communicator: You don't just love data; you love talking to the people who use it. You can sit down with a warehouse manager or a software engineer, understand their pain points, and build a data solution that makes their job easier.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 2-4+ years of experience working across data engineering and analytics domains (experience as a solo data practitioner or early-stage team member is a huge plus).
Cloud Data Warehousing: Strong, hands-on experience with Snowflake (architecture, performance tuning, and optimization).
SQL & Pipeline Mastery: Advanced SQL skills are a must. Experience with integration/ETL tools (Celigo, Fivetran, dbt, or custom API scripting) is highly valued.
BI & Visualization: Experience building impactful dashboards. Familiarity with HEX is a major plus; experience with Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker is required.
Ecosystem Familiarity: Experience working with data originating from ERPs (NetSuite), project management tools (Jira), and custom web applications.
