The Opportunity:
The CACI Automated Remediation and Discovery (ARAD) team is seeking a Data Analyst in support of the Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS) contract with the Department of the Air Force. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of online analytical processing (OLAP) tools. Gathers analytical requirements working with subject management experts. Develops data frameworks for data analysis to support end-user data discovery. Designs and develops data models that optimize analytical reporting performance. Develops data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading processes between transactional and analytical systems. Build reports, dashboards, and OLAP databases to support end-user reporting and information requirements. Performs statistical analyses on data and predictive forecasting. Analyzes and interprets results using statistical techniques. Interpret trends or patterns in complex and data sets.
The preferred work location for this role is 2-3 days onsite in Chantilly, VA with remaining days remote.
The analyst will work with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ingest, normalize, correlate, and visualize data across infrastructure, network, endpoint, and application domains. They will play a key role in translating data into actionable insights using Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, (e.g. Power BI, Envision, and SharePoint). The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a passion for data visualization, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities:
- May be involved with supporting the management of large projects with minimal oversight that require critical thinking and complex analysis
- Typically has responsibility for communicating with other personnel across the program
- Typically, responsible for running small technical teams to include providing guidance, coaching and training to other employees within job area.
- Responsible for developing technical solutions that may require collaboration with internal expertise and deep analysis of the technical system.
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower-level professionals
- Collect, clean, and transform data from various sources, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, (e.g. Power BI, Envision, and SharePoint) visualizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Leverage collaboration technologies to manage and share data, reports, and dashboards, fostering collaboration across teams.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover patterns, correlations, and anomalies, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective reporting solutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance and documentation within SharePoint.
- Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in Power BI, Envision, and SharePoint.
- Support ARAD use cases including root cause analysis, service health monitoring, and predictive insights
- Produce analytical artifacts for leadership decision support
- Collaborate with solution architects and platform engineers to ensure data quality and compliance
- Develop custom solutions for specialized mission sets based on customer needs and requirements.
- Ability to innovate and stay up to date on cutting edge tools and technologies, creating new ways to protect data and communicate or secure information utilizing custom or open-source designs.
- Ability to work with both unstructured and well-structured data.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
- 10+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
- Experience working with:
- Enterprise monitoring / observability platforms
- Data integration pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Structured and unstructured datasets
- Operational dashboards and reporting solutions
- Experience supporting DoD or federal IT environments preferred
- Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Practical experience using SharePoint for data management, collaboration, and document sharing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Desired:
- Prior Air Force or government program experience
- Familiarity with ITOM, or observability architectures
- Experience supporting Data Integration Platforms or enterprise analytics ecosystems
- Exposure to log, metric, and experience telemetry sources

The proposed salary range for this position is:
